1 | Join him in one of his favorite activities
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Your husband didn’t marry you to get a second mother. Believe it not not, you husband would probably LOVE the idea of spending quality time with you doing one of his favorite things! Is the hubs a football fan? Why not head over to the proshop (or the internet, for that matter) and buy yourselfs matching jerseys! And don’t stop there, if watching the game isn’t something you usually do, watch his jaw drop when you actually sit next to him during the game with a bowl of popcorn ready to cheer the team on together! I know my husband is always pleasantly surprised when I leave my phone in the other room and actually watch the game with him- ha! It’s actually pretty fun if I give myself the chance to get into it!
2 | Go on a foodie adventure!
The quickest way to a man’s heart hasn’t changed a whole lot over the years. Does your city have a fall food festival or regular food truck gathering? Scout them out to find the most interesting and delicious new foods you can find! If there’s a restaurant he’s been talking about trying for forever- even if it’s the next city over- take a short road trip. You never know, you might just discover your new favorite spot to indulge in a guilty pleasure! Keep an eye out in the paper or your town’s website for upcoming foodie events!

Fall is the perfect time to join in some of my husband’s favorite activities. We already have gone to a football game and I usually watch every weekend when he plays on a rec league.
