Hey everybody! Let’s see a show of hands for all of you who LOVE breakfast food! Ok, well I can’t see your hands, but if you like this post, I’ll know you raised your hand 🙂 Also, anyone else out there who has a family who hates waiting for dinner? I do. Now Josh loves my cooking, he just hates waiting for it with a grumbling stomach. And usually I say, “Sorry! Can’t have it both ways!”
But I think I have finally found the key that unlocks the door to the best of both worlds…
This amazingly simple, fast cooking, easiest quiche you’ll ever make!
For the crust, I usually use my Go-to Pie Crust Recipe which is great to make ahead of time and freeze for when you need it. Or if you’d like to cut your meal prep time even shorter, store bought works just as well too.
Now for this recipe I used my heart shaped pan which is the equivalent to using a 9×9 in. pan or a pie plate. I think it tastes better when it’s made in my heart shaped pan 😉 This recipe will yield one quiche but you’ll have extra dough from the pie crust recipe so go ahead and double it if you want!
[amd-yrecipe-recipe:4]While you may be thinking that this recipe is a bit of a cop out for for wholesome and fresh veggies- I’m sure some sun dried tomatoes and fresh basil would taste amazing!- the point of this recipe is to be quick and for most of it to be able to be done with one hand (the other holding a baby of course). I love spending time experimenting with new tastes and flavors but on the weekdays when you have about 30 minutes of nap time and you’re getting texts from the hubs saying “Hey, when’s dinner??” this recipe is a great quick fix!
