This post is sponsored by Stitch Fix however all opinions are my very own.
I’ll be honest, I love all the seasons, but spring and summer is my ultimate favorite when it comes to dressing up. That’s when I feel like I have the most freedom when it comes to my wardrobe and when I feel the most comfortable in what I’m wearing.
I love shopping for clothes but since I split most of my time between work and being with my babies, and I don’t want to spend any more time on my phone than I need to (and bringing the kids into a dressing room is just asking to get seen naked by the entire store).
That being that case, a few months ago I signed up to try Stitch Fix for the first time! Right off the bat, I was super impressed with the items I received. There was a mix of brands that I already knew and loved and some I had never heard of before. Every item fit PERFECTLY thanks to their thorough styling quiz.
I also loved how easy it was to return the items I chose not to keep in their prepaid envelope. I don’t even need to wait in line at the post office to mail it back. I call that a huge win!
Here, I wanted to show you all what I received in my May Fix and how I’m choosing to style it!
The overalls
While taking photos, Josh told me that this was his favorite piece that came out of this month’s Fix And I totally get it.
These overalls are deep navy blue, they’re soft, and super versatile! Now, being honest, this is not a piece I would have ever picked out myself. That said, I love the way they look and feel on and after having tried them on, I’m definitely considering keeping them.
The peasant top
You got a sneak peak at this top underneath the overalls above. For me, this top of a definite keeper.
The material feels almost like a silky linen. I love the subtle stripes and the ties at the neck. This top is super easy to throw on and go which is why it’s so easy to add to my closet – I don’t always have the extra time to plan out a new outfit!
I also think this top dresses either up or down well, so I see it getting a lot of use.
The backpack
I was so surprised when I pulled out this Dagne Dover backpack! Josh and I actually have this exact backpack in black that I gifted myself for Christmas a couple years ago 🤗.
This backpack is QUALITY. I love the neoprene material because it holds up really well, looks amazing, and keeps everything we need safe and dry. Not to mention this massive color is super pretty and can go with a ton of different outfits. This is a definite keeper
The feather and flow top
While I like the look of this top and love the little details like the eyelets in the front, I don’t usually wear tops that have elastic in the waist.
But that’s the best thing about Stitch Fix! If you don’t feel like something is 100% your style, sending it back is as easy as dropping it off in the post office mailbox. No harm done. Which is such a great deal for me because I’m horrible at making returns because I never have time to get back to the store!
Overall, this top is very cute, just not for me. It’s going to be making its way back to the Stitch Fix fam.
The Tickled in Tassels dress
I loved this dress from the moment I pulled it out of the box. I was so impressed by the details.
The embroidery is real stitching, the rope neckline is really cute, and the tassels at the bottom really make the whole dress.
This dress would look great both with a cardigan or standalone with a pretty heel.
What did you think of my May Fix? What items would you have kept for yourself?
One it the things I love about Stitch Fix is the fact that the price of each monthly fix, $20, gets credited to my account for the clothes I chose to keep. Not only that, but I can refer friends and family to try Stitch Fix and I can get even more credit towards future fixes 🙌 It’s really easy to do and who doesn’t want free clothes??
Sign up here and try your very first Fix the next month! I’d love to hear how your experience is an which items you keep! Anyone who schedules their first Fix through your link will receive a $25 credit
Does the backpack come with the trolley sleeve?
